What do you like best about San Marcos?

Although nearly 70,000 people live in San Marvelous it still has a small town feel. There is also a wide range of good eats quite literally walking distance from campus.

Why did you choose to become an admissions counselor?

I chose to become an Admissions Counselor to serve as a bridge to community; there’s something special about a college campus that can’t be replicated. I also enjoy providing students with the same reassurance I was given along my journey to and through higher education.

What is your favorite tradition at Texas State?

The week leading up to the Homecoming football game is electric. Alumni from all over the world are coming back “home” to reflect on their favorite TXST memories. It’s like a big family reunion with people you haven’t seen in years!
