Application Fee Refund Request

While it is stated elsewhere on this website that the application fee is nonrefundable, on rare occasions, all or part of the application fee may be refunded to students who have one of the following documented extenuating circumstances:

1) A current, continuing Texas State student has submitted an application for the next term and paid the fee.
(Payment receipt required.)

2) An applicant submitted an undergraduate application, but is advised to apply to the Graduate College.
(Payment receipt and proof of application and payment to Graduate College required.)

3) An applicant has requested to change application terms between summer and fall of the same calendar year after already paying the fee for both terms.
(Payment receipts for both terms required.)

If your situation fits any of these circumstances, complete and submit this form to request a refund.

For what term(s) did you apply and pay the nonrefundable fee?

You must provide required documentation to support your refund request.
